Ilmârs Blumbergs (b. 6.IX.1943, Riga). Completed studies at the decorative design department of the Riga Secondary School of Applied Art (1963), graduated from the painting department of the Latvian Academy of Art (1972) specialising in stage design. Has also worked in other Latvian theatres and at the National Opera. Field of activity: graphics, book graphics, painting.
